Why Boutique Silk Flowers and not our competitors?

Set yourself apart. We offer a new and exciting range of artificial flower arrangements. They are trendy, fresh-­looking and uplifting… out with the old, in with the new! Our designs are composed of stem flowers individually arranged by hand. They are full-­bloom and lush, and set permanently in heavy, high-quality glassware, which makes them look exceptionally realistic.

Why silks and not fresh cut flowers?

When quality silk flowers are used, their “life-like” appearance often surprises the most critical eye. Here are just a few of the benefits of using our luxury silk flower arrangements:

Where is the best place to display Boutique Silk Flower arrangements?

When you book your on-­site assessment, we help you decide where to place the arrangement/s. We take into account the volume of space, ceiling height, flow of light, atmospheric conditions and your preferred position. Lastly, we guide you through our collections and styles to find the perfect fit! We recommend keeping your arrangements inside and only exposing them to direct sunlight for short periods. Exposure to constant extreme heat or sunlight may cause your arrangement to lose vibrancy and form. If using them outside, place the flowers under covered areas such as balconies or verandas to avoid damage caused by the elements.

Are all Boutique Silk Flowers pure silk?

While the quality of our products remains high, today’s artificial flowers are no longer all made of silk because it’s not cost-effective or versatile.
The reference to silk originated more than a century ago, when artificial flowers were sewn with the material. However, today’s flowers are comprised mainly of synthetic fibres, such as polyester. The upside? Nowadays they look more realistic than ever before.

How accurate are your colour depictions?

We make every effort to ensure that all colours are accurately portrayed on our website, but please bear in mind that your own computer or device screen may cause variations in colour reproduction.

Do you have a showroom to visit and view your range?

No, we prefer to bring the flowers to you! During the free on-site visit, the design team will assess the arrangement size most suitable for your environment and provide several examples of our silk flower arrangements so you can see the quality of our flowers and glassware firsthand.

What type of silk arrangements do you offer?

Each silk arrangement is individually composed by hand which makes each unique to a certain extent. We use mostly long-stem artificial flower stems to provide the height in our displays. Our silk arrangements come in four styles: structured pieces, crisp cropped designs, decorative potted flower plants or flowers in abundance beautifully set in a more naturally composed cut-flower style. To add to the life-like feel, most arrangements are permanently set in high-quality, heavy, clear glass vases while our potted flower plants are set in artificial soil.

Hiring Artificial Flowers

How does your floral subscription service work?

For long-term hires, Boutique Silk Flowers rotates flower arrangements every two weeks. This ensures the flowers remain dust-free and our vases always look clean, providing you with variety and a new look often enough that the arrangements can be mistaken for real fresh flowers. Once we have provided the initial on-site consultation (free of charge) and you have chosen your subscription package, we will work out a convenient delivery schedule.

We do not lock you into fixed-term contracts but do require two weeks’ notice for subscription cancellations. Boutique Silk Flowers are customer-orientated in all our practices. We strive to build trustworthy relationships, practicing mutual respect at all times.

How does your one-­off event hire service work?

For details about hiring artificial flowers on a short-term or one-off basis, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

With one-off event hires, we charge a refundable deposit and an additional fee on top of the standard weekly rental price for delivery and pick-up. Delivery charges are subject to the kilometre distance from our CBD address. One-off hires are expected to be collected by us within 48 hours of your event. Depending on availability, you might have the option to keep the flowers up to 14 days. We will call you to confirm.

How do we pay to hire your flowers?

Your payment details will be noted at the time of registering your subscription. We accept MasterCard, VISA and American Express via PayPal or Stripe. Our website carries a security certificate for your peace of mind.

When will my first payment go through?

As part of our current offer, your first payment will only be processed after 2 weeks if you decide to continue when the trial period is over.

Take in account that this could change as and when we have further offers, example if we would offer a 30 day trial, you would only pay after 30 days.

How often are payments processed?

As our long-term hire service is subscription-based, we invoice and process payments on a fortnightly basis. Payments process automatically from your nominated credit card when you created your account and set-up your payment method with Stripe.

Is GST included in hire prices?

How long can you hire for?

We offer long-term flower subscriptions and short-term (one-off events) flower hire.

Who can hire?

Boutique Silk Flower arrangements are ideal for any environment where you want to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Whether for corporate entries or business offices, they show your customers they are appreciated in a subtle, lovely way.

Where do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to Mackay and surrounds within 15k and Melbourne’s CBD and surrounds within 25km. However, where possible, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, so please get in touch directly.

Why hire and not buy outright?

Hiring provides the pleasure of variety and an element of surprise. With a different look often enough, your flowers are perceived as fresh instead of artificial. Buying an arrangement often results in it losing its vibrancy because it gets dusty and over time becomes stale in your mind.

The quality of the products we use and the stature of our arrangements are such that it becomes expensive to buy, but still worth it if you do not care about variety.

Do you charge separately for pick-­ups and deliveries?

While our pick-up and delivery fees are included in the monthly subscription fee, we charge a separate delivery and pick-up fee for one-off hire events.

Who is responsible for breakage or loss of a hired arrangement?

When under hire, the arrangements are the responsibility of the customer and they assume full liability for damage or loss. Please refer to Responsibilities section under our Terms and Conditions.

Note: Our flowers do not have to be watered. If accidentally watered, damage may occur and may result in repairs or possible replacement, both of which will be subject to our Terms and Conditions.

What currency are prices displayed in?

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD$)

Do prices include GST?

How do I place an order?

Once you have selected your preference, simply follow the prompts in our online shop:
• Add the desired product/s to your shopping cart,
• Enter your account details upon checkout,
• Select your shipment and delivery preferences,
• Make your payment,
• Receive your confirmation email and attached invoice.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept MasterCard, VISA and American Express via PayPal or Stripe.

How will I know if order was received?

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you nominated with your account. You will receive a receipt from the payment method you used (Paypal or Stripe) to make your payment.

Can I make changes to my order?

We strive to deliver on time and therefore can only accept requests for order changes if we receive them within 12 hours from your order confirmation. We strongly advise you to notify us as soon as possible by calling 1300 077 160 when you are certain about the change. Please have your order number ready. Please refer to our Delivery Policy in our Terms and Conditions section.

Where are you able to deliver to?

We deliver throughout Australia using special courier services.

Are you able to notify me of delivery?

Once dispatched, our delivery agent will send a tracking number to your registered email address. We recommend choosing either an AM or PM delivery time bracket to ensure deliveries are successful. Refer to the Shipping page for more information on the communication process followed.

What happens if no-­one can receive my order when delivery occurs?

Delivery of goods are subject to our delivery agent’s practices. What happens to goods that cannot be delivered will depend on your direction (i.e. “leave at door”; “leave at post office” or “take back to depot”). We recommend including a telephone number in the comments section of the checkout process so we may get in touch in the event you are not available to receive your order.

Where can I use my artificial flowers?

We recommend keeping our artificial flowers inside and only exposing them to direct sunlight for short periods. Exposure to constant extreme heat or sunlight may cause your arrangement to lose its vibrancy and form. They are suitable for use outside under covered areas such as balconies or verandas, as it is best to avoid water exposure and possible falls due to wind.

How should I care for my flowers?

It is best to clean the flowers and vase regularly to avoid dust accumulating. Don’t use water to clean the flowers. Instead, spot clean them with a damp cloth if they are stained by food or liquid. Let them dry in a shaded aired spot instead of direct sunlight. We recommend regular dusting with a soft duster or soft, long bristle brush. In extreme cases, you can use a blow dryer on a COLD setting to blow off the dust but keep flowers on their side to avoid blowing the particles into the glass vase.

We have over 18 years experience working with the artificial water products and derived a secret formula to minimise the breakage of vases due to the different rate in which the glass and artificial water expand and contract. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

Can you repair my display if damaged?

Contact us for a repair quotation. Our arrangements are mostly set in clear glassware. If the glass breaks you have the option to have your arrangement reset in either another clear glass, ceramic or metal vase. The fee will include the cost of the new vase, plus the time it takes to remove, rearrange and reset the flowers.

Return and Exchange

We know you will be happy with your flowers, but in the rare event you’re not and have a change of mind, we offer a 7-day return and exchange based on our policy stated in our Terms and Conditions. Shipment back to us and shipment of the exchanged product will be at the buyer’s cost.

A full refund guarantee is offered on all products if the glass vase is broken during transit. Please phone us immediately or within 24 hours of receipt of goods and we will replace the item free of charge. Please view our Terms and Conditions for our Guarantee Policy.

Why buy and not hire?

If variety is not a priority, buying outright is a good option. It will be your responsibility to maintain the flowers in order to fully reap their enchanting benefits. We offer a bi-annual cleaning service. Please get in touch to find out more.
